Copyright Question

Dear list,
  I have a conflict with my vocation and my avocation.  I would like to set
up a sideline in which I would take patterns which are available for purchase
and make the product for customers who do not have the time or talent to knit
or crochet.
  My conflict:  What are the copyright rules for buying a pattern and then
selling the finished product?  As a respector of copyright, I would want to
honor all the rules.
