HIT: Dumping microfiche

Thanks to everyone who responded to my request. I posted that I was
considering getting rid of fiche because I now have infotrac
(CD),Searchbank (on internet), and other online resources. Also, my fiche
reader/printer barely works.

2 people said they were keeping their fiche resources because the
backfiles were more extensive than online products.

5 people said they have or will dump their fiche. One person said she
never missed the fiche. One person said she made book marks out of the
old microfilm!

One person said he/she (I forget) is stopping most fiche but keeping some
as an archive.

I have decided to get rid of mine. Some of you expressed an interest in
what we are weeding. I will post my fiche yard sale items as soon as we
get it together.
