We have emptied everything that Margaret and Group, I'm posting this to the group because others may have similar problems. When I first signed onto a commercial ISP, I received 2 very large graphics files. My system just locked down and would not allow me to download ANY of my mail. I called the ISP tech support, and he said that the mail in Netscape can only handle about 300K of mail. More than that clogs it. I asked what he did to get around that because I receive LOTS of mail. He said he uses an e-mail program instead of the Netscape mail. When I asked which one, he said Pegasus because it's free (program is free; manuals cost). Others use Eudora and Eudora Light (?). Anyway, I went to the tucows web site and downloaded the Pegasus program and installed it. I haven't had problems since and I really like using Pegasus. To get my mail going again, the tech support guy had to go in and delete the file that locked my system down; I couldn't do it myself. Your uncle may have to have tech support do that for him. I would be interested in other e-mail programs if you have one that you just LOVE! Actually, I really like Pegasus, but I'm open to suggestion if there are better ones.
