Nice idea, but it won't work. I don't need the address in a sig to get an email address, I just go to the headers. Those are put in by the computer and you can't change them unless you're going to spoof your email and then LM_NET won't accept the message for posting anyway. You can go to the LM_NET archives and pull off any number of messages with valid addresses. It's one of the disadvantages of a public archive. But I'll put up with the slight inconvenience of junk mail rather than close off the archives. If you've visited a website, your address has been recorded in a log file. Most places use them for legitimate purposes and statisistics. But some places sell them to mass emailers.
