Dear LM_NET, I have spoken with Glencoe-McGraw-Hill, dutifully joined new listservs, chatrooms, searched the WWW and, alas, I am humbled. I have been unable to find any reviews or curriculum committee or teacher feedback on the new textbook which our American History textbook selections committee has recommended to administration. Deadline has been extended. (Oh, good, now I have more time to search evenings on the Web. :-(. Any clues out thar'? Earlier, I wrote: ...I have been trying for several days to find a review or feedback from several people on American History, Multimedia Edition , a 2-volume set (includes two books plus CD ROM) put out by Glencoe-McGraw-Hill. Individual titles of set are: _American History:The Early Years to 1877, Multimedia Edition_ ISBN:0-02-822313-6 _American History:The Modern Era Since 1865, Multimedia Edition_ ISBN:0-02-822366-7 I have searched the WWW, tried Marketing and Sales at publisher, Natl Council for Social Studies in Wash DC, and am still coming up empty. Copyright date: 1997, but it was sold last summer and so some schools have used by now. Tia. Joanne Sullivan, Williams School Media Center, Chelsea, MA 02150 Student Scientists Coordinator, U.N.
