At present we are asking students to give us one shoe if they use a CD. They
really hate that and some refuse to do it.
We use the same technique. How is it different from the cash deposit that
adults are required to make at tool rental outlets? Demeaning? I don't think so.
Ask your reluctant students to suggest a workable alternative "deposit."
