Secondary: books with disability

I have a request from a teacher for books, magazines articles, videos, etc.
for two 17 year old girls who both have physical disabilties.  They both
can walk but with moderate difficulty.  Do you know of any "motivational"
materials or just fun books that these girls might be able to relate to?
They are both mature and very bright.
