Late Night with LM_NET & Mike Eisenberg

Join us and for the first annual Late Night with LM_NET and Mike Eisenberg
show being held at the upcoming AASL conference in Portland, Oregon. You
are invited to meet library media and technology movers and shakers as
Mike and friends engage and entertain you. This is a FUN event. Yes,
we'll share ideas about the field, but also be prepared for some lighter
moments. Witness your peers perform "Stupid Library Tricks" and hear how
others in the field maintain cool, creative lives in and outside of the
library media world.

Enjoy tasty desserts, hot java and the chance to win lots of cool prizes.
Late Night with LM_NET & Mike Eisenberg will go live Friday, April 4, 1997
from 9:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Attendance is limited and studio passes will
be required at the door.

To reserve your studio pass RSVP at the Late Night with LM_NET & Mike
Eisenberg Party Page at:

www.LM-NET.com

[note - LM-NET is spelled with a dash, not an underscore. It's a long
story.]

this! ;-) ]

What you need to do:

Then, on Friday, April 4, 1997 shuffle off to the Linworth Publishing,

Linworth Publishing, Inc. and Electric Library. The first 100 passes will
be a winning color and will need to be hole punched at the Electric
Library booth to receive a shirt.

Then fill out your studio passes and bring them to the Late Night Show,
being held in the Pacific Northwest Ballroom at the Red Lion Lloyd Center
AASL Headquarters Hotel, for the chance to win many other prizes including
books from Linworth Publishing and subscriptions to Electric Library.

For those brave and creative enough:

In the spirit of the David Letterman show, we are asking for your input to
the event. Here is your chance to shine in a number of ways. You can
participate in one or all of these catagories. Remember, even if you
cannot attend you can participate as the Late Night with LM_NET and Mike
Eisenberg Party Page will live on!

We are looking for individuals who have special talents, whether it be:

1. that unique talent you've always wanted to use to entertain a crowd
(Stupid Library Tricks),

2. an interesting thing you do outside of the library media center that
helps you maintain your sanity,

3. or input in our Top Ten List "The Top Ten Excuses for Overdue Library
Books".

Each and every one of the examples used, and even some of those not used
at the event, will win prizes.

Submit your entries on the LM_NET Late Night Party Page at www.LM-NET.com.
Submit as often as you like.

Again, for those individuals without graphic World Wide Web access, email
your RSVP and submissions to the event to:
