HIT: filmstrips to video

Just opinions here - few filmstrips are recent enough to warrant the
labor-intense conversion to video.
With slides on video you lose the timing of presentation and random access
nature of the material.
My best guess is that your circulation of these materials after conversion
will not justify the time invested in recording them on video. If you are
removing the film-based versions from circulation, I wouldn't worry about
copyright. If you are keeping the film-based versions in your collection I
would think you need copyright clearance from the distributors.
