REF: Equipment Replacement Policy

     The Media specialist of a neighboring school district just called
looking for an example of a policy regarding replacement for
equipment. So far, we've been unable to find one.  Do any of you
have/use such a policy which outlines the number of years a piece of
library or classroom equipment can be expected to be in good use
before replacing?
     Given our budget outlook we feel we will be writing the book of
Great American Fiction, but since administration is asking for this
policy, we want to do our best.  Please send any information you are
willing to share regarding equipment replacement policies to
