Friends,
Below are the responses I received regarding how to get my QuickTake
camera pictures on the internet. Hope it helps you too.

Depending on the version of the QuickTake, you are likely to be unable
to save as GIF or JPEG. You need to convert the graphic using a program
like PhotoShop, SuperPaint, or other to get it to 'Internet' status.

It is actually a QuickTake PICT file. You will need to use a graphic
converter application program to convert it to a GIF or JPEG file.
If you still have more questions or want to know what sofware to use
and where to find it, I would be happy to answer them.

I use either GifConverter or Clip2Gif to change pictures from my digital
camera to the gif format. Clip2Gif is freeware, and GifConverter is
shareware. Both are available from several places on the web. If you
have trouble finding them, let me know and I'll see if I can help.

You can open the Quicktake picture with the Photoflash software that
comes with the camera. Next edit the photo and reduce its size so that
it doesn't take so long to load. Then save the photo as a jpeg file.
This will go to the web nicely.
