I have walked into a new job where the only information that was left was a bill for Reader's Guide! Here's my list: 1. Circulation procedures 2. Processing procedures 3. Services that have been offered and are now expected. 4. Past programming that faculty will probably be expected to continue. 5. Selection policy - any challenged materials in the past? 6. Jobbers used 7. A couple of years worth of PO's to get an idea of what and who. 8. Next year's budget. List of any items already ordered/money spent 9. list of staff/faculty who have always been supportive. 10. Discipline procedures 11. Any items that they would change given the chance. 12. Any school traditions that are considered "sacred" 13. List of where "things" are - supplies ect. in the media center and in the school. 14. List of past parent volunteers with phone numbers. 15.
