I will take any suggestions I can get. Our lib. is being remodeled all next school year. My tech and I will be in a portable with all materials in boxes. We will probably have six computers set up in our portable for all computer type uses as well as possibly internet connections. So far, when we thought construction would be finished in December, I asked teachers for topics for which we could pull resources for them through December. I pictured myself going into classrooms and team teaching with teachers on various units. Now we have discovered we will be in the shelfless portable all year. #1- Should I ask teachers for topics for which they want resources pulled for the ENTIRE year? #2- Should I still plan on "team" teaching with various teachers on various topics ALL YEAR? We have a flexibly scheduled library under normal circumstances- so I end up teaching with those who want to plan collaborative lessons with me. Probably I will just shift to doing that in the classroom. #3-Unless you all have better ideas? #4- Someone suggested working with a class a day on computer skills (tied to curriculum of course)- each class would see me about once a month. #5- What ideas do you have for how to spend my time?
