Two new reader's theater scripts have been added to my Web site at www.aaronshep.com. RTE #15 -- The Millionaire Miser: A Buddhist Fable Retold by Aaron Shepard GENRE: Fable CULTURE: Buddhism, India THEME: Generosity READING LEVEL: Grades 3 and up READERS: 11+ TIME: 7 min. RTE #16 -- How Violence Is Ended: A Buddhist Legend Retold by Aaron Shepard GENRE: Legend, fable CULTURE: Buddhism, India THEME: Nonviolence READING LEVEL: Grades 6 and up READERS: 6+ TIME: 10 min. The second script is a tie-in to a story of the same title, to be published in the December issue of _Cricket Magazine._ The first script is adapted from a previous _Cricket_ story, "Sushil the Miser," in the November 1995 issue.
