Two new reader's theater scripts have been added to my Web site at
www.aaronshep.com.

      GENRE: Fable
      CULTURE: Buddhism, India
      THEME: Generosity
READING LEVEL: Grades 3 and up
      READERS: 11+
      TIME: 7 min.

RTE #16 -- How Violence Is Ended: A Buddhist Legend

      Retold by Aaron Shepard

      GENRE: Legend, fable
      CULTURE: Buddhism, India
      THEME: Nonviolence
READING LEVEL: Grades 6 and up
      READERS: 6+

The second script is a tie-in to a story of the same title, to be published in
the December issue of _Cricket Magazine._ The first script is adapted from a
previous _Cricket_ story, "Sushil the Miser," in the November 1995 issue.

From my home page, click on Aaron's RT Page, then on Reader's Theater
Editions. As always, the scripts can be freely copied and performed for any
educational, noncommercial purpose.
