Lisa, Congratualtions on your success.  This listserv is a wonderful
reosurce for all of life''s little and big problems.  It sounds like you
did a bang up job and your deserve ovations for that.  I am copying your
message about joining organizations to share with the 40+ librarians I
work with and for.  Many do not join because of the cost.  It is a
professioanl responsiblity as well as a personal responsiblity in my job
and as a librarian.  I do no always agree wtih the organizations stance
and philosophy, but one can only make changes from wtihin.  Thanks for
making points that we all need to hear once in ahwile.  Good luck with
your year.
