Hi, Gary is absolutely right about getting through to other educators/administrators, etc. Our state association has been trying for years, however, to get those administrative groups to let us at least address them and, so far, we have been largely ignored. We keep at it though. In my own school, I realized that in every school newsletter, teachers would report on what their class had been studying during the month but never mention that the research/project had been done in the library or that the librarian had supplied materials so I decided I'd better "toot my own horn." Now, in _my_ article, I mention what classes have been researching in the library.
