GEN: So. CA only disaster preparedness

Dear all my southern friends:
I replied to Bunkie Wilson about our disaster preparedness plans, but
wish to pose a question:  since the state mandated that all schools have
a plan after the 1989 Loma Prieta quake, how do you feel your plans
worked during the Northridge quake?  If you wish to reply to me
personally, I will forward them on to Bunkie.  TIA   Lois (on bedrock
500 yards from the Hayward fault)  :)!!
