Lib. Design to Encourage Pleasure Rdg.

Hi everyone!
        I am in the process of meeting with architects to help plan a major
library renovation.
I would like unique ideas that you have seen in elementary school libraries
that are fun for
kids and encourage reading/learning for pleasure in an inviting atmosphere.
Some examples that I have already run across are reading lofts, old
clawfoot bathtubs with pillows used as a place for reading, immersion areas
with display cases/tables for realia relating to a curricular unit, puppet
stages, etc.  If you know of any other neat ideas, could you please email
them to me ASAP?  I
will be meeting with the architects again next week!
        Also, if you have been through a major renovation and have any
words of wisdom for me...
I would appreciate your advice!!
