Another idea for "tooting your horn"  in a round-about way -- I run off a
 monthly calendar of classes scheduled to come to the media center and put
one in each of the teachers' mailboxes as well as the administrators' and
secretaries'.   Sometimes this changes on a daily basis, so I usually update
it once or twice a month depending on how many changes are made.   Not only
can the teachers use it to plan their media center time around the other
teachers, but it shows the usage.  Some of the non-users see  how many
classes do use the media center and start planning some visits for their
classes.   The secretaries appreciate having it so that they can find classes
that are not in their normal rooms.   It has been a positve thing for us.
