Another librarian has asked me to post this question to the list.  Hope
someone can help.
        A 7th grade English teacher, asked me if I could track down a copy
of this story or book. She remembers reading it when she did her student
teaching.  It is the story of a forester who had 3 wishes.  He first wished
by mistake for a sausage, and then in a rage wished for it on the end of
his wife's nose,
and then had to use his last wish in getting it off again.  Sound familiar?
Let me know. It's referred to in the 7th grade literature anthology.
