Karen and LM_Netters: On the Mac save your claris word processor file with this procedure: 1. Save, As, 2. Hold mouse down on Pop-Up button for File types. 3. Scroll down to RTF file 4. Type MY_FILE.RTF for the file name. (You must include the .RTF) Important:-) The file name MUST be in DOS 8.3 format. That's and eight character file name with a 3 letter extension after the period. Long file names won't make the trip. 5. Pop in a PC formatted disk. 6. The disk directory automatically opens in the save window. (That's why I like Macs) 7. Click Save. 8. Tell your boss to open the file with MS Word by double-clicking the file in Explorer view. The other option on the pop-up is to save as a Microsoft Word 2.0 PC file. But you must remember to add - dot.doc (.doc) to your 8 character file name. -------------------------------- Cindy Bishop, Teacher, 4th Grade North Belt K-5, Humble, Texas <!--Email--> <left>Email: <a href="mailto:bishop@imsday.com"> bishop@imsday.com</a></left> <!--EndEmail--> > Karen Brostad wrote: > > You people always make me look so smart.
