In seeking sources for fifth graders researching the dance and musical instruments of the Medievel and Renaissance periods I have found many brief entries in the general books on these time periods for this age group but am having difficulty finding substantive material beyond what the general encyclopedias give. Is there a young people's version of something like the Grove encyclopedia of music that I am missing or can anyone make suggestions on this topic for me?
