Hi everyone,
I decided to seek your help on this problem. My library does not have to
provide prep periods, however we have to have an inflexible schedule (5 or 6)
classes daily. Our teachers were informed ( a few years ago) that they had to
remain with their classes. Some of them (about a third) actually ignore their
classes in the library-they are there in body only. If I am helping a student
or group from the class at one end of the library they will ignore
misbehavior close to them!
Some of them never assign student research or reports and never tell me
what they are teaching in their classes. I try to survey them informally and
mention their input with their classes is welcome.
For those who are helpful I always show my appreciation, now how can I
recognize these people without slighting others?
Any advice is most appreciated.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
