SEC:READING TECHNIQUES TO IMPROVE READING COMPREHENSION

Our high school's reading comprehension scores, particularly ninth graders,
are very low.  Some of our staff have been trained in Reciprocal Teaching
and are trying this method with our students.  Our English Dept. would like
to know of other techniques that high schools are using to increase reading
comprehension. I would appreciate a response soon.  Thanks.
