Dear LM_Netters, I'm trying to trace the origin of a story I learned at least 10, and probably nearer 20, years ago at an Oregon Education Media Association conference. A presenter whose name I do not remember told a story she called "The Oregon Cat," about a cat who tries to make his droopy whiskers straight. Does anyone know anything about this story or about the librarian who presented it? Is she by any chance out there in LM_Net land? I have used this story many times and it has always been a hit.
