Book Title

One of our parents came in and said he was looking for a book about two
brothers.  One of them always had to haul or push the other one around.
One day the brother got tired of doing this and the boy in the wheelchair
or wagon was struck by lightning. He said a friend of his had read this
when he was in elementary school in GA.  The other book he wanted was a
Robert Burch.  Does anyone have an idea as to what this title might be?  If
you can help I would sure appreciate it.  I told him how great this
listserv was.
