GEN: Intranets and School Libraries

Thank you to the people who responded to my request for information about
school intranets and school library involvement in the development of
school intranets. The replies followed no real pattern, and I don't think I
could produce a meaningful "HIT" from them. However, they provided some
food for thought, and led to some disciussion here.

By the way, in response to a question from two people, the article about
"The School Intranet: An Opportunity for the School Library" will appear as
the regular "InfoTech" column in EMERGENCY LIBRARIAN in the
January/February 1998 issue.
