The books in my media center were selected carefully and any student who walks into the media center to use any piece of information can assume that is has been selected according to a particular criteria. I'm not saying that students shouldn't have access to the Web -- they should, absolutely. I'm not sure anyone does the issue any justice by assuming the issue is black and white or that is just another medium (like books).
