I have been following this discussion about the American School Directory and I am wondering if anyone has approached a secondary principal who is an active member of NASSP. I am surprised this association has been willing to be a sponsor to a company that operates in this manner. I suspect the leadership of NASSP does not know about the practices we have been uncovering on this listserv. Apple and IBM are also being tainted by this discussion. Those of you who are in schools that make big purchases of either Apple or IBM products need to be conveying a synopsis of this conversation to executives in both of these companies to let them know their advertising money is backfiring on them. Money is the bottom line here. Obviously this company has a significant promotion budget and it must be coming from their sponsors.
