        I am not sure that the message which I sent out on Monday was

Dear Group,
        Would anyone have any information about a book which might have
been called, The Thief of the Gulf Stream? It was read in Israel during
the 1930s in transalation to Hebrew.  It involved changes in weather,
landforms, etc. as a result of an evil plan to change the Gulf Stream.
If anyone has any information, please e mail me directly.  Also, would
anyone have any information about a book for the teaching of English to
children and called Brighter English?  Thanks in advance for any
information you might be able to supply.  This is not needed for
students, but for a neighbor who remembers these books from childhood.
