Dear LM-NET members: I know this has probably been posted before, but I am currently in need of some information that I have never bothered to look into before. I am looking for some good arguments/reasons in favor of flexible scheduling. I know am currently used as a prep time with fixed scheduling. I am doing lessons with the students, but I feel there is never enough time to accomplish what I would like to do because they check books out during this time as well. If you use flexible scheduling, how is this done? Do you have any fixed schedules for checking out books? Can you provide me with some good reasons to change to flexible scheduling? I will be approaching our principal soon in regards to this, and I would like to explain to him, and perhaps even document, how other people do it and why it is beneficial. Extending my gratitude....
