Hit: Elementary computer guidelines

Thanks to those of you who answered my query about basic guidelines for
the use of computer in elementary schools.  Unfortunately most of the
replies were from people wanting to know what information I gathered.
There wasn't much.  A few people said if the kids are focused they
wouldn't need guidelines and one suggested using At Ease or some such
program so trashing could not occur. One person did suggest washing hands
before using computers but no one really gave me a good  basic list of
does and don't to guide the kids.

However, in this month's Classroom Connection there is a page of
guidelines for using computers and also a page of guidelines for using the
Internet.  I think modifying these, simplying the language and adding a
few more guidelines may be useful.
