Boy, I just reviewed the most beautiful atlas for ARBA-- Macmillan
Centennial Atlas of the World; ISBN 0-02-861264-7. $175.00 The maps arecreated
digitally and are at a uniform scale. They are so clear and sharp and you
can actually read the words on the maps. There are 32 pages of satellite
photos. There are details of continental road networks, route numbers and
classifications, indication of distances between points, locations of
airports and important natural and cultural sites, and so much more that
makes this a really useful and superior atlas. Another thing I like is
that it does not have all that extra textual encyclopedic type of info.
that just takes up space in an atlas. I highly recommend this one.y
