Gen: Princess Diana Memorial

Hello everyone!

I have a very special request ...

I have been a Princess Diana fan for 16 years.

I collect memorabilia about Diana and her children.  At this moment I have over
one hundred books, thousands of articles in scrapbooks, and many misc. idems
which run from dolls, to personal photographs of Diana, to thimbles, to posters.
Basically .. if you name it, chances are that I have it.

I was very upset by what happened to Diana, but I decided that this tragedy
could be used in a positive way.  We just started the new school year, so I am
doing a quick orientation time with each class.  In my new beautiful media
center I have a wonderful display case which I've filled with memorabilia about
Diana.  I talk to the classes about what "media" means  and show them the
current news about Diana using the most recent magazines, newspapers, and
internet.  I also use books, tapes and CD's from my Di collection.  We also talk
about the biography section.  Around the display I put up copies of Cinderella,
castle books, England/U.K. books.  I think Diana would be proud!

Here's my request ... I feel that since this is the last great news event about
Princess Diana I would like to complete my scrapbooks with articles about the
accidents and the funeral from around the world.

I would first like to display all of the magazine and newspaper articles in the
media center for the students to see the impact of her death on the world and
how the media in different parts of the world announced her death. Afterwards, I
will put them in my scrapbooks.

Could you please send us an article (or more than one article) from your local
newspapers?  It would mean so much to me!  They will all be on display for the
public to see!  We have had many visitors (even the local newspaper and TV
station) here to see the display.  I would appreciate your help!

I will always love Diana!

Thank you!  Diana's funeral will be very early on Saturday morning.  I was up
early to see the wedding ... I never dreamed I would be doing the same for this
event ... so soon!
