This is a new "problem" for us also. We have 1700 students and 10
computers connected to the internet with more coming. We produce photo
ID cards for our students, much like businesses use, and the words "AUP
Y or AUP N are printed boldly under the photo. I have velcroed plastic
clips (like clothespins)to the top of each computer monitor and any
student using a machine on the network must have his card in the clip.
No card showing; no use the computer! I hate having to walk around like
a policeman, but since this is the first year, we are going to try to be
as strict in enforcing as possible. Hopefully, posting the card on the
computer will soon become automatic. We'll see!
