Group - It is always great to read in the professional journals of other
groups about the importance of the media center.  In the April 1998 issue
of the "NASSP Practitioner - The Newsletter for the On-line Administrator"
talks about technology and education.  A lengthy segment is on the
importance of the media center.

One paragraph begins ..."Often overlooked, and even more fundamental, is
the library or media center.  As the academic heart of the school, the
library . . . is a good place to center everything a school attempts to do
from a technological point of view."

It has to be a good sign to see this kind of support in an administrative
newsletter.  This particularly came to mind as I read in LM_NET about those
of use who may not have good building level support.  Floyd
