Hi everyone, This contest announcement comes from my colleague, Terrie Gray, who is one of the AskLN mentor teachers. Her website, ED's Oasis, is hosted on our system here at Syracuse University. Select from your portfolio the BEST lesson in which you used the Web as a curriculum resource, and submit it to the ED's Oasis MasterSearch lesson plan design contest! WHO: Any classroom teacher, librarian, or instructional staff member currently teaching in elementary or secondary schools. WHY: To celebrate the creativity and ingenuity of exceptional teachers and to establish a collection of exemplary lessons (involving the use of ED's Oasis Treasure Zone web sites) which can be shared with teachers around the world. WHAT: Entrants must submit a complete lesson plan, or provide the location of a lesson they have published on the World Wide Web. WHEN: The deadline for entering the contest is MAY 30, 1998.
