MID: Vietnam War reference books

I have been given money which is ear-marked for Reference books about the
Vietnam War.  I have not been able to locate one that would be accessible
to our 5-8 grade middle schoolers.  I was pleased to receive an ad for ABC
Clio's new Encyclopedia of the Vietnam War but when I called them it seemed
clear that this was geared more to the reading and knowledge level of the
high school or college student.  They were not able to point me in the
direction of a good source to meet our needs.  I am hoping that someone out
there is using or has discovered sources which they could suggest to me for
