I have 2 people on my campus who are in need of information. I know you all can help. 1)Our high school reading teacher is expecting a much larger enrollment in his classes next fall (more than his current 6-10 kids, maybe 25 per section) and is interested in a computer program for reading. He wants something interactive, more than reading a book first and then answering questions. We are NOT interested in AR. Does anyone have any ideas? Anything you have in place would be somewhere to start. 2) A guidance counselor brought me a brochure for a summer school program called "Junior Statesman." It's out of San Mateo and advertises summer programs at Yale, Harvard, etc., and it's quite pricy. A parent is interested but wants to know if this is legit and/or valuable. Has anyone heard of this? TIA for your help.
