Dear LM-Netters: I am participating in a roast for our school's teacher of the year. He is a great guy and fun to work with but he is absolutely awful about returning his books. In another life we knew each other when I working in the public library before I got my MLS and before he became a teacher. Even then he was bad about bringing his books back on time. So needless to say, we have a long librarian/patron history. I would love to incorporate this fact into my contribution. I already have Shel Silverstein's poem about overdue library books. Does anyone have any poems or ideas that would help me? It has to be humorous and lighthearted. I want to still be able to ask him bring heavy boxes up the stairs for me when this is all over :-).
