<<grump>> when i started the lan and the internet here at my school, it was based only in the library and software that is traditionally library was used here: encyclopedias, atlases, magazine article abstracts, etc. things that we needed here. We bought licenses for 4 8 or 10 users and now we have about 10 machines that can access these databases. HOWEVER, we just got a new cd rom server that is going to make the softawre accessible all over the campus. folks who use one database around there rarely log out of it...what is going to happen to the 4 user or 8 user databases if classrooms are logged into these programs and folks in the library can't use them! am i being too possessive? backward? or just in a bad mood and not thinking too clearly? your feedback most welcome! thankx roselle weiner librarian American School for the Deaf 139 North Main Street Westhartford, CT 06107 r_weiner@sacam.oren.ortn.edu =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST * NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
