Weeding fiction

Dear Everyone:

I'm looking for helpful hints for weeding a fiction collection in
antcipation/dread? of the task I have set before myself. The Save the Books
campaign I mentioned earlier is a way to invovle the students, but I also
know that as a professional it really falls to me! I have the CREW method
as well as some wonderful general tips from our "weed of the month"
postings (thank you Florida!).

How about some of your personal tips/tricks--dos and don'ts--???
I'll post a hit in a few days.
