I have two at home. One holds my cassette tapes. It is a perfect size for this purpose, and the tapes sit on their sides, with the "spine labels" easy to read. I have subject headings on each drawer: Piano, Classical, storytelling, holiday, etc. The other one holds my CDs. They have to lie down, but they still fit in the drawers. They are great conversation pieces in my home! I bought both of them from libraries that were discarding them, and they are pretty oak with brass. The one I discarded at school was so ugly, I didn't want it. It had been bought back in the 70's when orange, olive, and gold were the big colors. It was bright orange and black, laminated, and truly an eyesore. The janitor took it and keeps his tools, nails, screws and other junk in it. One man's trash is truly another man's treasure!
