I have recently received a sizeable grant for upgrading media center information resource networks. Many of the media coordinators, particularly in the middle and elementary schools, were very impressed by the World Book 1998 Multimedia Encyclopedia, Deluxe Edition (2 disc set). However, the review in the September/October issue of "Multimedia Schools" mentions difficulties in installing this product on a network and suggests that there may be problems in keeping the program running on networks. In addition, the reviewer was less than happy with technical support. We will be using Win 95 workstations, Novell 3.12 or 4.0 or later, SciNet CD-ROM servers. My question......has anyone installed this product on a network and how well is it working? I would appreciate answers sent directly to me and I will compile a hit if the answers warrant it.
