printing patron barcodes

Our school needs to to print patron barcodes for student I.D. cards.  (The
students registration number and library circulation number will be the
same.)  Can anyone comment on their experience with Bartender, the Follett
barcode software?  Can you recommend other software that works well with
Follett?  Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
