It's wonderful to see so many sensible responses to that goofy Times article
(reprinted in our local paper).  In addition to my own genealogy surfing on
the web, I have two kids, both with significant internet time logged.  I
showed the article to both of them.  They both agreed that there are depressed
people out there and that probably depressed, lonely people had more time to
spend on the internet.  Incidentally, my husband's neice is embroiled in a
relationship with a 17 year old that she met on the net.  And yes, she's left
her husband, however, that was before she had an internet connection.  Her mom
would certainly like to blame it all on the internet!
