Hello Friends!
Well, the inevitable has happened--I've been in this rural, conservative
elementary library for 5 years now, and finally have a book challenge. I
have a reconsideration form, but my principal does not want to cause any
problems, so he just wants to pull the book from the shelf. The title is
_More Scary Stories_ by Tresselt (? I think). The parent is objecting to
how gory some of the stories are. Personally, I don't care for them
either, but it is a popular title, and is checked out a lot.
Have any of you had trouble with this title? Should I consent to letting
the book be pulled without going through the reconsideration process? I've
never had to handle this issue before, and need advice from the experts!
        Thanks for any help!
