TECH: Your California Essential Recommended Links

The following message is principally for Californian school librarians,
but I would enjoy hearing from anyone who would like to offer sugestions.

Dear California LM_NET Colleagues,

I am in the process of developing a "California school librarian essential
links" website. I have my own notions about what ought to appear there,
but would like to have your comments and suggestions. This website is
aimed at California school librarians, but of course, would have links to
a wide variety of library related resources.

As of now, I am thinking of organizing the collection as follows:

California Informational and Institutional Resources:
  e.g., CITC, SCORE, California Heritage Collections, Digital High School,
CDOE, the SJSU SLIS and other training programs, etc.

Other General Librarian Appropriate Informational Resources:
  e.g., American Memory, National Archives, AskERIC, Librarian's Index to
the Internet, Kids Click, ALA 700, etc.

Professional Associations and Resources:
  e.g., CSLA Website, ALA Website,

Web Use Sites:
  This would be links to resources that help teach how to use the Web, how
to develop effective web pages, how to evaluate them....

Others:
  A wide open category. Any ideas? What else would you like to see there?
Any specific links that are super important to you that might not fit or
might be overlooked by me?
