Dear School Librarians,

I sent call for participation in a survey about similar topics
on LIBREF-L list 3 moths ago but I would like to complete the survey
with your help, if possible. So, sorry for duplication.

My name is Beata Laszewska-Radwanska and I am academic teacher in
Institute of Library Science (Wroclaw University -
http://www.ibi.uni.wroc.pl).

I am interested in co-operation between public and school libraries,
especially in forms of it (eg. library courses (lessons), reading
programs,competitions, exhibitions, disscusions etc.)

Could you find a time to write about your experiences?
Have you formal obligation to co-operate with public libraries?

Your answers will be used to write a paper about mentioned
co-operation in different countries. It is important for Polish
librarian community because we have our own experiences and need some
examples to compare to. I would be glad to receive answer from your
library.

Sincerely,
             Beata Laszewska-Radwanska

What are school librarians doing regarding the subscription increases for
the New York Times? Is there a cheap source out there with archival
access? Is the web version recommended (it looked like I would have to
pay $2.50 for each article I view). Thanks for any advice:)
