Read Across America

I need some suggestions for activities for Read Across American Day on
March 2.  Our lunchroom does not serve eggs, but they are going to have
green rice and ham for the elementary students.  I also plan to read Dr.
Seuss and have the older grades try to make up rhymes like Dr. Seuss does.

I will post a HIT on any suggestions that I get.
